Glow RCV 18 V3 Dreamwood

The Glow RCV 18 V3 vaporizer with its 510 thread will screw on any type of mod or e-cig.

The clearomizer Glow RCV 18 requires a mod (type of electronic cigarette) that offers at least 50 watts of power and a 18650 battery (or other depending on your mod) with 30A discharge minimum for a powerful and fast heating or at least 20A discharge for a softer and slower heating.

The Glow RCV 18 or Rebuildable Convection Vaporizer is so called because its bowl, which is located in the mouthpiece and therefore far from the heater, is 18 mm in diameter and that the resistance (the part that heats) can be changed in case of wear or breakage.

RCV - Rebuildable convection vaporizer

The bowl being located in the mouthpiece, the GLOW RCV 18 V3 offers a 100% convection vaporization which is very rare on a vaporizer.

Its system of operation is the puff on demand: you will have to press the button of your MOD at each lath to launch the heating.

The Glow V3 heats up in 3 seconds.

On the one hand this requires more battery but on the other hand it preserves your plants longer because they are not exposed to heat between your inhalations.

The air flow is adjustable at the base of the atomizer which allows you to adjust the density of the slats.

Last point, the heating element is changeable, it is a resistance made of Kanthal A1 single mix twisted, easy to change, you have two provided in addition to the one already mounted.

Technical characteristics of the GLOW RCV 18 V3:

• Heating power required on your MOD: 30-80 watts
• Kanthal heating element - can be changed if necessary.
• Materials: wood, stainless steel, glass.
• Diameter: 22mm
• height approx. 80 mm
• Autonomy:
  with a battery mod, about 5 to 10 sessions / bowls.
  With a two battery mod, double!
• For the resins, we advise you to make a nest with hemp fiber available here.
• For concentrates we recommend our hemp fibre or a Dynacoil Dynavap.
• Requires a battery with 30A to 20A minimum discharge.

Before first use :

• Screw the GLOW to your mod, in Watt mode set it between 30 to 35 watts.
• Remove the glass mouthpiece, then press the power button on your mod until the resistor / coil glows. Release and blow briefly to cool it down, then repeat once.
• The resistance must light evenly, if not, it must be aligned by opening the clearomizer at its base.
• To align the resistor, remove the battery from your mod or turn it off.
• Gently pull on the wooden part at the base and watch the resistance.
• It must be well screwed and not touch any other part than the + and - poles.
• Align and secure the resistor as required.
• Turn your Mod back on to 40 watts to see if the resistance lights up evenly.
• If this is the case, put the wooden base back around the base of the resistor.
• To allow the wood and the joints to slide smoothly, be sure to use the wax provided for this purpose.

Instructions to be READ before using the DreamWood Glow RCV 18 :

• Adjust the airflow to your liking - we recommend opening it for the first time.
• Remove the glass mouthpiece and fill the plants without tamping them.
• Replace the mouthpiece.
• Set your mod to 35 watts.
• Press the ON button on your mod and inhale quietly for 10 seconds.
• Blow.
• Repeat the operation a second time.
• If you have no visible steam (and your plant is supposed to) then gradually increase by 3 to 5 watts until you see a trickle of steam.
• If you have steam, look at the color of your herbs between your slats.
• It is absolutely necessary to avoid that they become black.
• A good indicator for most plants is the light to dark brown color.
• Once your plants have browned and no longer taste or steam you have vaporized everything.

Be careful though, many plants do not make steam, so the best indicator is the disappearance of the aromas and the color of your plant.

How to change the resistance of the GLOW 18 :

To do this, be sure to turn off your mod.
Carefully remove the wooden base.
Unscrew the screws, remove the resistor and install a new one, making sure to align it properly.
Attention the wires must touch only the + and - poles, nothing else!
Turn on your mod, launch a heating between 30 to 40 watts to see if your resistance shines well in a uniform red way.
If this is not the case, the resistor must be better aligned and the connections checked.
Once this is done, put the wooden base back on and you are ready.
If you use a resistor other than the one supplied, be sure to turn up the wattage very slowly to find the right setting and avoid burning your plants.

Remarks:

The resistor must have the same length and the same number of turns!
It is not recommended to go below 0.15 Ohm as this will put too much strain on the battery.
The battery discharge must be at least 30A!
Do not touch the heating element when it is heating up as you could get burned.
This clearomizer with dry plants must be used with care and no responsibility of the manufacturer or dealer can be engaged in case of accident.
