All Vector lighters are covered by this warranty: No proof of purchase is required to receive Vector warranty service. Vector has technicians who repair lighters in the manufacturing plant in the USA.
This makes Vector the last lighter company in the USA to offer this type of warranty.

What is covered by the Vector warranty?

Vector and LCV will exchange your lighter with the following conditions:

An email and prior agreement must be sent and obtained from LaCentraleVapeur.
The lighter must be returned with a cheque for 13 euro made out to La Centrale Vapeur - this is to cover the cost of return postage and repair.

All Vector lighters and torches, even the damaged ones, but don't rely on Vector if you need to reassemble a lighter in parts. If all the removable parts of the lighter are in good condition Vector will repair your lighter except in case of wear and tear such as breakage / falling on the ground.

However, mutilated lighters with more than two parts broken or missing are not covered by this warranty.
