Nitecore SC2 Superb Charger

The Nitecore SC2 Superb Charger allows you to charge all cylindrical Li-ion / IMR / LiFePO4 / Ni-MH / NiCd batteries.

A huge power in terms of charging speed, the Nitecore SC2 is capable of charging up to 3000mA on one slot and 5000mA on 2 slots (3000 + 2000).

It also has a USB port to charge your phone or tablet up to 2100 mA.

Instructions for the Nitecore SC2 Superb Charger:

Insert the battery(ies), the automatic detection will do the rest for you.

If you insert a 3.2V LiFePO4 battery you will have to select the 3.7V mode manually on the charger to avoid damaging the battery.

The same applies to a 3.8V Li-ion battery, you will have to select the 4.3V mode.

To select the Voltage:

to install the battery, simply press the button on top of the battery to enter the manual mode and then hold down the V button to enter the voltage selection. Release the button when you are on the desired voltage.
Press the button above the battery again to exit manual mode and begin charging.

For IMR battery restoration

insert the batteries into the charger where the 8 LEDs will flash to indicate that the charger is not ready to charge. To activate the restoration, press and hold the button above the battery to activate the restoration mode.

Load speed :

Li-ion battery over 1200mAh capacity: Default charging current 2A / Max charging current 3A
Li-ion battery less than 1200mAh capacity: Default charge current 0.5A / Max charge current 1A
Ni-MH AA and AAA battery: default charge current 0.5A / max charge current 2A
Ni-MH battery C, D: Default charging current 1A / Max charging current 2A

To manually select the charging current

press the button above the battery and then hold button C to enter the charging current selection.

When the appropriate current is selected, release the button and simply press the button on top of the battery to begin charging.

Caution for Ni-MH and NiCd batteries: do not charge the battery at more than 0.5 x its capacity, i.e. for a 2000mAh battery do not charge at more than 1000mA.

To charge your phone via the USB port, you must not connect batteries at the same time, otherwise the charger will charge the batteries first.
