Why stainless steel?
The SS FMJ acts as a thermal reservoir to retain and evenly distribute heat, allowing you to choose the density and degree of extraction you want on your first heating cycle. The FMJ also acts as a sort of shield against combustion, allowing you to worry less about meeting the click.
Finally, steel is a magnetic metal, so you can use your FMJ with an induction heater and cool/hold it upright on a magnet.
FMJ SS Simrell instructions:
Heat it with an accurate storm lighter: the logo on the FMJ serves as a visual cue for your lighter. You can also rock it back and forth, top to bottom, finished the rotation phase to get the click.
Use with an induction heater:
Once you have verified that your FMJ is securely attached to your mouthpiece, insert it into any induction heater with a 12mm diameter to heat it up. Wattage varies from model to model, so get to know your induction heater to get the results you want.
Advanced heating method:
Covering the airport of your stem will increase the pressure and temperature inside the chamber, resulting in a darker roast.
If you leave your stem's airport wide open during your session, you will have lower chamber pressure and a lower temperature, less dense extraction. To modulate your vaping, adjust the heat/pressure of the chamber by modulating your use of your stem's airport.

Fait le job mais la dureté de l'acier inox le rend impossible à déformé pour que le captive cap tienne, c'est déjà un exploit d'arriver à le fixer au cap. Donc l'utilisation avec mon chauffage à induction est exclu... Cependant pas de trace d'oxydation comme celle en cuivre avec la chauffe au briquet, donc c'est plus sain je pense. Il est parfait avec un tip elix et le bonger sur un petit bubbler

Vraiment très content de cette bague de chauffe... Ça change la vie. On perd un peu en goût au début mais en fin de session ça sent moins le grillé, donc sur l'ensemble de la session ça se vaut. Par contre niveau facilité, et quantité de vapeur c'est top. Je tasse beaucoup plus depuis que j'ai la bague. C'est top.
