Convection means that your plants are not surrounded by heat, but that the source of hot air is located far below the bowl.
So you have to suck a little harder and longer than some vaporizers in order to get that hot air into the bowl to vaporize the plants.
Between each inhalation the temperature of the bowl drops several degrees, which will keep your flavors and herbs longer than a conventional conduction vaporizer.

By changing the composition you can strengthen or reduce the convection / conduction principle

You may notice that at the same temperature on another device, the CFV does not have the same vapor rate and this is normal because each vaporizer is designed differently.
On the CFV vape the temperature control sensor is located at the hot air level and not the bowl, so the bowl temperature will vary depending on how the air has had time to heat up.
Plan to set your vaporizer about 10°C higher than desired to get the right temperature in the bowl.

Instructions for use of the CFV V2 portable vaporizer :

• 5 successive presses of the On/Off button turn the CFV vape on and off.
  The Boundless logo appears then after 3 seconds the control interface appears and the heating starts.
  Pressing for two seconds will stop and restart the heating.
  - your VFC will remember your last selected temperature-
  The + button allows you to increase the temperature of the CFV by 1 degree.
  The - button allows you to increase the temperature of the CFV by 1 degree.
• Pressing + and - at the same time will switch between Celsius and Fahrenheit.
  
  Once the temperature has been reached, the wave icon will appear fixed.
  You can then inhale.
  Inhale slowly and long enough (3 seconds minimum to 15).
  Note that the steam and its volume, visible from 190°C, depends on your plant and its quality.
• Immediately after ignition, if there is no operation, the CFV will shut down after 30 seconds.
• To turn it back on, press one of the buttons.
• During standby mode, a long press of 2 seconds on the On/Off button is sufficient.
• It is possible to change the display direction of the OLED screen:
• With the VFC off, press all 3 buttons at the same time for 2 seconds.
• Changing the retaining rings :
  The ring can be removed by turning it counter-clockwise with the tool provided.
  Place it where you want it and turn it the other way to lock it.
• The mouthpiece can be completely removed and cleaned.
  Do not soak in alcohol for more than 30 minutes.

Differences between CF Vape, CFX and CFV V2 Vape from Boundless Technology:

• Unlike the CFX vape and CF vape, the CFV vaporizer can be used while charging via USB
• The CF and CFX vaporizers are not 100% convection, so the battens will be denser and less cool on these two vaporizers.
• The CFV portable vaporizer with its convection system allows to keep the aromas much longer, the sessions are also longer because the plants vaporize less quickly.
  This is due to the fact that between each inhalation the temperature of your bowl drops several degrees where it does not in a conduction vaporizer like the CFX or CF.

Our opinion, after testing and reviewing the CFV V2 Boundless Technology portable vaporizer:

Boundless, a Canadian brand assembled in China is a very good brand of vaporizer.
The CFV is true to the brand, solid and robust, it has a 3 year warranty and produces quality steam.
Its convection system works well, and the flavors actually last longer than average.
Unlike other Boundless devices, it can be used while charging via USB, a big advantage.
The set of retention rings makes a real change and allows to play on the convection.
A good vaporizer not too expensive for the fan of the aromas and a competitor of the mighty and flowermate swift pro.
Maybe not as good as a Mighty, but not that far behind.
