When you buy a PAX Flow, you get :

Using PAX Flow :

1. Fully recharge the PAX Flow before use.
2. Grind your flowers with a medium grind, open the bowl lid (by pressing on the ring), fill it with the flowers and pack very lightly.
3. Press the button in the middle of the mouthpiece for two seconds to switch on the PAX Flow.
4. To change the temperature, press the number of times required to reach the desired petal:
    Discreet mode (violet) :180 °C, low-steam for a discreet session (low LED brightness)
    Extended mode (green) : 190 °C, preserves your herbs while producing satisfying steam
    Flavor mode (yellow) : 205 °C, produces lots of tasty steam
    Steam mode (orange) : 215 °C, produces as much steam as possible
    Bubbler mode (multicolor) : 225 °C, maximum heat mode for use with a water filter (requires PAX Flow Water Pipe Adapter or equivalent). This mode disables the lip sensor.
   
   Wait 3 seconds or shake to confirm your choice. When the petal LED indicator flashes pink, heating has begun.
5. Once the selected temperature has been reached, the LED indicator turns green. Inhale through the mouthpiece and enjoy.
   You can take small or large puffs, depending on your preferences and the heating mode selected.

Charging the PAX Flow :

To display the remaining battery level, shake it (device must be switched on):

• 1 red petal: 0
• 1 white petal: 25
• 2 white petals: 50
• 3 white petals: 75
• 4 white petals: 100
• Standard recharge time: 50% in 45 min, 100% in 90 min
• Fast recharge time: 50% in 20 min, 100% in 40 min

Adjust the brightness of the LED petals :

Position the PAX Flow horizontally, and rotate it forwards to increase brightness, and backwards to decrease it. A good trick for more discreet use in dark environments.

Reset :

Press and hold the mouthpiece button for 7 seconds to reset PAX Flow to factory settings.

Cleaning :

PAX recommends cleaning your PAX Flow approximately every 3 to 5 sessions. Wait 10 to 15 minutes for the unit to cool down before cleaning.

1. Empty the bowl using the multi-tool and remove the grid.
2. Clean the bowl lid and steam outlet with a cotton swab or paper towel lightly moistened with isopropyl alcohol.
3. Soak the bowl rack in alcohol for 15 minutes before taking it out again.
4. Allow all parts to dry before reassembling.

Note : do not submerge the bowl cover in any liquid.

Our review of the PAX Flow :

The design of the PAX Flow is not out of place for anyone who has dealt with the brand's vaporizers before. It may be slightly larger than its predecessors, but its aesthetics and handling are just as refined as ever. Whether you're new to the brand or not, you'll quickly find your feet with this PAX Flow, which is as intuitive and easy to maintain as ever !

The bowl contains slightly less herbs to allow convection heating to work properly, and heating takes a little longer than on the PAX Plus. The flavour rendering is much more complete and consistent: we feel that a very fine balance has been struck between conduction and convection. Another positive point is that you can make small inhalations or larger ones, and still get satisfaction.

With quality plants, sessions can last a long time, so much so that three or four sessions will already have taken their toll on the battery. Fortunately, the battery can be recharged quickly with a suitable charger. On the downside, the device is powerful and, depending on the petal chosen, can get quite hot in the hand, so you'll soon find yourself holding the device on its edges to avoid discomfortPAX Flow Grip Sleeve helps to alleviate these feelings (which, by the way, are entirely surmountable).

In conclusion: while the device continues the success of its predecessors, it allows you to enjoy the flavors of your plants even more, with a particularly homogenous HDV (already vaporized herbs) rendering. Its steam path, accessible by simply tilting the side cover, makes this vaporizer even easier to maintain than previous PAX models.

If you have the necessary budget and are already won over by the brand, you'll be seduced by this innovative and reliable device. Be prepared to invest in an external battery to compensate for the rather short autonomy, and in a silicone cover to reduce the sensation of heat in the highest heating modes.
