The Tester

The Le Testeur vaporizer was designed by Katayzer with the best possible flavor rendering in mind and a use that requires heating means accessible everywhere.

Katalyzer offers here a very effective vaporizer for the tasting of your favorite plant (koncentré or other).

No electricity is required with the Le Testeur, a simple torch or storm lighter is all that is needed.

The size of its bowl allows to fill about 0,1 grams of plants or resin.
The Tester being all glass, this vaporizer allows one of the best flavor rendering of the market because the glass is totally neutral in terms of flavor or toxin emission.

The Tester is a smart vaporizer, you can see your plants being vaporized live.
Your inhalation tube will then gradually become covered with a thin golden film.
This can be enjoyed later by using the inhalation tube as a straw dipped in a cup of hot milk (or other fat).

Remember to clean it often for a very good taste

As the glass is not guaranteed, we invite you to shake your parcel before signing for it and to sign it with reserve in case of doubt.

In case of glass breakage at reception, you have one hour to inform us, otherwise no request will be accepted.

These are placed at the bottom of the bowl against the glass stop pins.

With regular and careful maintenance, a grille will last for several months.

The Tester needs a good TORCH lighter to work easily, the stronger the flame the less time you need to heat the glass
You can use a one flame, two flame or three flame lighter depending on your choice of heater type.

The Tester is handcrafted by artisans to Katalyzerthe first French portable vaporizer brand Being handmade, small differences may appear between each copy.

Technical characteristics of the Tester Katalyzer :

Instructions for use of the Tester Katalyzer.

• Crumble your plants or resins.
• Fill the inhalation tube on the bowl side to a maximum of 1 to 1.5 cm.
• Do not pack.
• Close with the heating head.
• No grid is required to use the Tester to get the best flavor.

In this case it is possible that fine particles of plant material reach the mouth.
To avoid this, think of doing a first soft suction and suck gently afterwards, you should not have any more particles during the following inhalations.

Several types of heaters are possible depending on your expectations:

For the best flavour, please use the gentle heat.

Always keep in mind that with a vaporizer the softer you inhale the warmer the air and therefore the more inhalation. The harder you inhale, the less the cold air that enters the vaporizer has the opportunity to heat up. The puff will be smaller and softer.

Quick heat:

• Bring the Tester to your mouth and start inhaling while heating your head.
• With your flame, while making short trips back and forth along the heating head, make sure that the flame passes well behind the hole.
• The more you keep the flame just behind and close to the hole, the hotter the air will be and the faster the vaporization.
  Vapour will begin to form rapidly upon inhalation.
• Stop heating when you want and then take a few puffs if you want and as long as the glass is hot enough.
• Repeat the heating process as often as necessary.
  Be careful, as soon as you see your plants turn dark brown you are at the maximum temperature, you must stop heating.
• If you vaporize by putting the flame directly in front of the hole, the heating will be really fast with risk of sub-combustion.

Intermediate heating :

• Preferably with a double-flame lighter or a single torch.
• Heat the heating head for 20 sec by moving it back and forth and rotating the Tester between your fingers.
• Put the Tester in your mouth and start to inhale.
  Then, if necessary, inhale while making short trips back and forth along the heating head and make sure that the flame passes well in front of the hole
  The longer you keep the flame behind and close to the hole, the hotter the air will be and the faster the vaporization.
• The steam will start to build up.
• Stop heating when you want and then take a few puffs if you want and as long as the glass is hot enough.
• Repeat the heating process as often as necessary.
• Be careful, as soon as you see your plants turn dark brown you are at the maximum temperature, you must stop heating.

Soft and powerful heating - the most efficient for a very homogeneous and strong extraction.

• With a triple-flame lighter or a torch is mandatory.
• Heat the heating head for 20 sec by moving it back and forth and rotating the Tester between your fingers.
• Then heat the part of the glass around your plants for 2 to 3 seconds while continuing to rotate the Tester between your fingers.
• Bring the Tester to your mouth and start inhaling as softly as possible for a big puff, or hard to be lower in temperature.
• You can repeat this operation as often as you like.
• Be careful, as soon as you see your plants turn dark brown you are at the maximum temperature, you must stop heating.

Advanced technique:

1. For an even more homogeneous and strong heating, after heating the heating head, you can heat the glass at the level of the plants for a few seconds (2 to 3).
2. You can heat during inhalation but be aware that this will increase the heating rate by conduction if it is against the wall of the bowl, and will increase the heating by convection if it is via the hole of the heating head
3. Take your time to get to know the Tester. Your goal: avoid any black color in your plants.

Our opinion after test and review of the Tester Katalyzer :

The Tester is an ingenious little vaporizer that allows you to vaporizer your favorite plants in a simple and effective way.
Thanks to its all-glass construction, the Tester allows you to test and discover flavors as well as with a high-end electronic vaporizer.
A true competitor to the Dynavap vaporizer and a natural evolution of the Katalyste, the Testeur is a very good portable vaporizer.

Compared to other vaporizers like Biovapo that we don't sell, it wins hands down and offers better shock resistance and much better flavors thanks to the convection offered.

Cleaning the Tester :

Two ways to clean it.

Serious cleaning :

• Fill it with a few centilitres of ISO 99.9% alcohol available here or cleaner Limpuro.
• Soak for a few minutes or much longer depending on how dirty your glass is.
• Empty the alcohol into a suitable container for reuse.
• Rinse your Le Testeur Katalyzer with clear water.
• If it doesn't shine brightly enough, then a solution like the Limpuro will be perfect.
• Rinse again, take the baby out of the bath.

And there you have it, your Tester Katalyzer is all clean!

Sunday cleanup :

Heat a fatty substance such as milk and pour it into a cup.
Use your Tester as a straw to drink the hot fat.
The active ingredients coagulated in the glass will detach and pass into the milk.
Once your cup is finished, switch your Tester to the previous procedure.
