Use:

1. Recharge with quality butane (Vector or refined equivalent) before the first use.
2. Purge the air by pressing the filling valve returned to the ground for a few seconds.
3. Fill in keeping the butane cartridge vertically against the valve, 5 to 10 seconds.
4. Let stabilize a few minutes before turning on.
5. Adjust the flame to the desired height via the wheel.

Use a refined butane (5x to 14x Cold-Filtered) to avoid impurities that dirty the valve and shorten the lifetime life. Vector markets its own butane specifically formulated for its jet lighters.

⚠️ This product is imported from the United States and is supplied without gas. Remember to get some if necessary.

It requires 100% impurity-free gas; otherwise, the mechanism will malfunction or stop working. In such a case, the wrong gas must be emptied out and replaced with suitable quality gas.

All Vector lighters are covered by this warranty: no proof of purchase is required to benefit from it. Vector has technicians who repair lighters at their manufacturing plant in the United States. It is the last American lighter company to offer this type of warranty.

Vector and LCV will replace your lighter under the following conditions:

• All removable parts of the lighter are in good condition (mutilated lighters, or those with more than two broken or missing parts, are not covered by this warranty).
• Prior agreement must be obtained by sending an email to La Centrale Vapeur.
• The lighter must be returned with a check for 13 euros made payable to La Centrale Vapeur (to cover shipping, return, and repair costs).
