"Thermochromic Muzzle

A unique feature of Yocan Red torches - including the Yocan Red Slate - is their thermochromic nozzle. Thermochromic components react to heat, so the nozzle of the Yocan Red Slate changes color when the torch is in use. You'll know if the torch lighter is hot to the touch simply by looking at the thermochromic nozzle on Yocan Red Slate.

Yocan Red Slate user manual

Yocan Red Slate operation:

1. Make sure the trigger is not locked.
2. Squeeze the trigger and hold down the button.

Note: The Yocan Red Slate locking and unlocking mechanism is located at the front right-hand end of the lighter when the Yocan Red mark is facing the user.

Yocan Red Slate flame adjustment:

1. Locate the adjustment knob on the Yocan Red Slate.
2. Slide the knob to the left to increase heat/flame.
3. Slide the knob to the right to decrease heat/flame.

Note: The adjustment tool is located in the lower right-hand corner of Yocan Red Slate when the Yocan Red logo is facing the user.

Filling the Yocan Red Slate:

1. Renovate the Yocan Red Slate.
2. Take your butane bottle and position the pump tube over the filling hole.
3. Stroke the butane bottle until the butane tank is full.

Note: Check the window to see how much butane has been charged.

Cleaning and care of Yocan Red Slate:

1. Wipe down the Yocan Red Slate with a damp cloth or clean, dry paper towel.
2. Remove any dirt, grime or residue.
3. Always keep the Yocan Red Slate in the normal position (except when filling) to avoid leaks.

Note: Yocan Red Slate is designed to be stored flat.
