SiC is a synthetic ultra-hard semiconducting ceramic, it stores heat and retains it for a certain period of time (even more than glass, quartz or titanium).
With these SiC (Silicon Carbide) beads you increase the heating surface for your concentrates. These beads work particularly well in inserts or small bowls.
